Bio
Ms. Guajardo commenced working with Madeline Anz Slay Architecture, PLLC in November of 2007. She is a project architect in the Laredo office where she does client relations, design development, construction documents and construction administration.
From 2003 to 2007 Monica practiced independently dba Fusion Architecture and Design and was involved in all phases of design and construction. Previous to registration, from 2000 to 2003 she worked as a Construction Project Manager for Paragon Builders, Inc. Her primary duties were meeting with clients, design, production of construction documents and construction administration. Before this, Monica worked with Labunski Architects, in Harlingen, Texas from 1999 to 2000 and in San Antonio with Andrew Perez & Associates from 1994 to 1998 and .
Monica has over 14 years experience of project design, management, construction administration, and client relations. She has worked on wide variety of projects that include hotels, commercial, multi-family developments and single-family projects. Monica also does property management and has practiced in real estate.
Monica currently lives close to her family in her hometown. She was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, and Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She spends her free time doing church activities, going to the gym and spending time with friends and family. She loves to travel.
