Bio

Anthony Weisman was raised on a ranch in the Texas Hill Country where he learned to hunt, fish, respect nature, build, and work. He graduated as salutatorian from Canyon High School in New Braunfels. He headed a few miles north to San Marcos and graduated with honors with a BA degree in Business from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) in San Marcos.

Mr. Weisman began his construction career during summers in high school. He has built commercial buildings, residential housing, bridges, highways, dams, and airports. He has also resored a historical home in Seguin, Texas.

Mr. Weisman enjoys reading and studying about green practices and sustainable building.

He spends several weeks in the summer and fall at a primitive cabin in northeast Vermont fly fishing in nearby streams and lakes.

Mr. Weisman enjoys visiting art exhibits and plans to enroll in art classes this fall (2008) at Southwest School of Art & Craft in San Antonio.

His wife Sylvia is a retired teacher & librarian who writes plays. Two of her plays were produced in New York City this year (2008) and one was previously produced in 2005. She is currently studying French in Quebec, Canada.
